A law firm seeks a highly qualified Capital Markets Associate to join its Corporate Department in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public securities and general corporate work. Duties Represent public and private companies, investment banks, and investors in securities offerings and compliance. Draft and negotiate key legal documents for corporate and securities transactions. Engage in transactions involving non-U.S. companies and strategic transactions for public companies. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience at a nationally recognized law firm. Excellent academic credentials. Strong drafting, analytical, and writing skills. Client-team focused approach. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois. Skills Experience with 1934 Exchange Act reporting and compliance. Proficiency in corporate governance matters. Retirement savings plan.
