Job Title: Temporary HR Representative (Jr.)
Location: Round Lake Manufacturing Plant (Onsite)
Position Type: Temporary/Special assignment
Work Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday (hours flexible, no remote work)
Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant, Business Casual Attire
Pay Rate: 37.93hr
Note: No allergies to penicillin or cephalosporins due to potential exposure.
May be required to shower when moving between plant areas. Position OverviewThe Temporary HR Representative (Jr.) will support the Human Resources function at the Round Lake Manufacturing Plant, focusing on leave administration, employee accommodations, employee life cycle events, and employee relations. This position is a trusted resource for both employees and leaders, ensuring HR programs are administered consistently, compliantly, and effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Administer employee leave programs, including tracking, documentation, and case management in compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage workplace accommodation requests and facilitate the interactive process to support employees who require accommodations.
• Resolve straightforward employee relations (ER) issues independently and provide guidance to managers and employees regarding conflict resolution and workplace concerns.
• Assist with employee life cycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records using Workday and other HR systems.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employees visiting HR, assess their needs, track recurring concerns, and communicate strategic solutions to address underlying issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly desired.
• No sensitivity or allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins.
• Solid knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and employment laws and regulations.
• Proven experience handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Workday experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
