Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager | Contract-to-Hire | Onsite | Montebello, CAWe are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced environment. Location Montebello, CA (Onsite) Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay $50-$60/hour DOE Duration Contract-to-Hire Start Date ASAP Responsibilities Oversee general ledger accounting activities Manage month-end and year-end close processes Supervise and mentor a team of 2 GL Accountants Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance Partner with leadership to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Utilize accounting systems and technology to support business operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5-15 years of progressive accounting experience Strong general ledger and month/year-end close experience Prior supervisory or management experience required Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred Experience with Sage 100 is preferred Exposure to or experience using AI tools in a professional setting All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
