In this essential front-desk role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and their petsensuring a positive, efficient, and compassionate experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a busy veterinary environment, and has a passion for both client service and animal care./ppDepartment: Receptionists/ppEmployment Type: Part Time/ppLocation: Melrose, Massachusetts/ppWorkplace Type: Onsite/ppCompensation: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour/ph3Some of the Responsibilities You Will Own in This Role:/h3ulliGreet clients and patients warmly while providing exceptional customer service/liliAnswer high-volume phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately/liliDifferentiate routine appointments from urgent/emergency cases and escalate as needed/liliSchedule appointments efficiently and accurately/liliObtain and document patient medical history and client information/liliVerify patient immunization and testing status/liliEnter client, patient, and financial data into veterinary software systems/liliGenerate invoices and explain charges/treatment plans clearly to clients/liliProcess payments and maintain accurate financial records/liliCommunicate patient arrival and treatment needs to veterinarians and technical staff/liliManage retrieval, filing, and storage of medical records/liliMaintain an organized and professional front desk/reception area/liliSupport additional administrative and client service tasks as assigned/li/ulpThis is not a complete list of duties.
