About This Role The Staff Nurse-IV Access provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, diagnosing and treating health problems through various nursing methods and techniques. This role is ideal for nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a community hospital setting. Highlights Pay: $109,490/year Location: Bronx, NY Facility: NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx Department/Unit: NURSING ADMINISTRATION Schedule: Full-Time What You'll Do Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients. Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes to ensure continuity of care. Interpret and report responses of patients to appropriate members of the health team. Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program. Determine and assign components of the nursing regimen to allied nursing personnel. Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel in patient care. Participate in defining, implementing, and maintaining standards of nursing practice. Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences regarding nursing policies and procedures. Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education and learning experiences. Requirements Experience: Nursing experience as a Staff Nurse preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current New York State RN License required. Additional Compensation Annual education differential based on degree: Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900 Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200 Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800 Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000 Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500 Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for nationally recognized certifications. Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $987 up to $8,190 for up to 10 years of experience.
