Finance Professional for AI Model Training

Apply practical finance and accounting expertise to validate real and synthetic financial data, improve reporting workflows, and help train next-generation AI systems. This contractor role focuses on reviewing invoices, ledgers, ERP exports, AP/AR processes, reconciliations, and variance analysis to produce high-quality feedback that shapes AI model behavior. No prior AI experience is required; finance domain knowledge is the primary qualification.

• Review and validate financial data, invoices, and ledgers for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform variance analysis and reconcile accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Evaluate exported data from ERP systems and provide clear, actionable findings.
• Support and document financial reporting processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows and month-end close activities.
• Analyze both real and synthetic finance tasks, mapping evidence to expected outputs with high attention to detail.
• Communicate complex findings and insights in writing with clarity and precision.
• Contribute to the calibration and improvement of AI training datasets using your finance expertise.

• Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, plus at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in accounting operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, reconciliation, or FP&A.
• Proficiency reviewing and interpreting ERP reports, general ledgers, and supporting documentation.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to identify and explain financial discrepancies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a focus on clarity.
• High attention to detail, especially when validating synthetic finance scenarios and documentation.
• Preferred: experience in audit, controllership, finance process optimization, or prior exposure to AI training, data annotation, or quality assurance in finance contexts.

• Engagement: Contractor, remote.
• Primary focus: AI training and calibration work for a customer team, emphasizing process improvement and dataset quality.
• Role profile: Finance generalists with operational and analytical strength are preferred over narrowly specialized finance professionals.
• No prior AI experience required; domain expertise in finance is the core requirement.

Hourly rate: $10 to $55 per hour.

• Minimum: Bachelor''s degree and at least 4 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Fluent written and verbal English required.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting is expected.
