Facilities Equipment Manager

Facilities Equipment ManagerLifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to join our team as a Facilities Equipment Manager in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for lifecycle management of fixed equipment and critical equipment deployed in our centers. Manager will participate in selecting, maintaining, and tracking the overall performance of equipment through its lifecycle.Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair on critical equipmentSupervise and provide direction for skilled inhouse repairsPerform annual review of critical repair vendors for equipmentProvide continued training to LifeSouth Technicians on equipment repairsCoordinate with QA and Operations to ensure timely repair and validation of equipmentEnsure equipment PMs are completed timely and updated in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Perform annual audit and reconciliation of equipment in CMMS vs NetSuite to ensure accuracyWork closely with Director of Facilities to prioritize and allocate resources towards equipment replacementsStay current with industry trends and make recommendations for program improvementsMust be able to operate company vehicleTravel up to 25% for equipment and site inspectionsQualifications:Relevant Associate's degree requiredMinimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience requiredMinimum of three (3) years experience in equipment or facility management requiredValid driver's license.
