Key Responsibilities

• Direct the physical therapy treatment processes aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and improving muscle function, aligning with each client's specific plan of care.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and quality care delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional capabilities, utilizing diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint, and mobility health.
• Assess clients' home environments to identify rehabilitation opportunities and make recommendations that enhance their independence.
• Implement prescribed physical therapy services in compliance with physician directives, applying manual therapeutic exercises and instructing clients in non-manual techniques.
• Manage and supervise the application of treatments including traction, massage, and other modalities involving physical agents.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices, collaborating with physicians for any necessary modifications.
• Prepare detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations and progress notes, ensuring accurate documentation for each client's care plan.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans and overall patient care strategies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain timely and accurate submission of documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct functional assessments on-site, continuously reviewing and revising care plans as needed based on patient progress.
• Assist in training and supervising physical therapy assistants in specific therapy activities as dictated by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Virginia with a reputable educational background from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance are mandatory for this position.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
