Business Development Lead, Richmond

Position Description:

CGI is seeking an experienced and successful commercial sector business developer across multiple verticals in the Richmond metro. This role is instrumental in strengthening CGIs market positioning accelerating large deal cultivation enhancing executive relationships and expanding the visibility and adoption of CGIs services and intellectual property (IP) ideal individual will have deep local market experience selling transformative IT deals. Youll bring CGI solutions and thought leadership to clients thrive in a collaborative global environment and be motivated by growing CGIs business in is a highly visible role requiring executive presence strategic thinking and the ability to influence both client and internal leadership stakeholders. This role will be performed from our Richmond VA office.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Business Development and Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts leading strategic pursuits and guiding proposal building to create tailored business solutions. Maintain a strong track record of winning opportunities.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with C level client executives aiming to become their trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.

Solution Design and Execution: Collaborate with solution architects and SMEs to design propose and execute solutions for complex client problems leveraging creativity and experience in advanced business and technology environments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Business Development Expertise: At least 10 years of experience in defining selling and delivering complex technology and business solutions in a consulting environment with a strong track record in business development and strategic deal closure.

Extensive experience leading the strategy for large diverse capture teams focused multiyear multi hundred million to multibillion dollar deals.

Proven success supporting or cultivating large complex IT Outsourcing deals. Strong knowledge of solution positioning leveraging technology services and IP assets.

Executive Relationships: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain C suite and senior executive relationships in the Richmond area.

Strategic Thinking and Decision Making: Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize initiatives that drive business growth with minimal guidance.

Communication and Presence: Strong presence self-awareness and communication skills across all organizational levels including public speaking and thought leadership.

Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel as needed largely in Virginia.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $161400.00 $282500.00.
