Bringing Home the Dough Annual compensation is between $70,000 – $85,000 and is comprised of a base hourly wage plus commission. As a Route Sales Representative (RSR), you will be responsible for ordering, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products. You must present a neat, professional appearance and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Drivers will check their delivery vehicle daily, maintain accurate records, report maintenance issues promptly, and fill out daily driver’s logs, time logs, and hours of service. This position requires flexibility to work varying workdays and early‑morning start times (generally around 3:00 am). Days off are on Wednesday and Sunday. An RSR is expected to increase sales by expanding shelf space, creatively displaying in‑store promotions, and ensuring product shelf life is maximized through proper rotation. The role uses data and marketing plans to build relationships and drive customer growth through effective communication, planning, ordering, and execution. You will work with customers to increase sales and drive satisfaction, adapting to service windows and non‑traditional business hours as required. Eagerness to gain industry knowledge and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are key to success in a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) environment. Prior delivery driver experience is beneficial for adapting to the demands of this role. Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications Delivery driver experience. High school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Have had a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card. Must have a valid state driver’s license and documented safe driving record. Must meet Fleet Insurance Guidelines. Must adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding the operation of a CMV. Must execute the best practices of RSR training (after 4‑week company‑paid training). Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
