## Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time, DaysApplylocations: Columbia - Boone Hospital Centertime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-10370# **Job Description****Additional Job Information*** 36 hours per week* Monday through Friday* Four 9hr days; Thursdays off* 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.* Weekend and holiday rotation required by department.* Benefits start first day of employment!### ## **Overview****Job Summary**Provides skilled treatments to patients as prescribed by the physician and directed by a licensed physical therapist as specified in their health care service setting.**Job Responsibilities*** Implements treatment plan as developed by the licensed physical therapist.* Collaborates with the licensed physical therapist on an agreed upon frequency to assess and reassess patient's plan of care, treatment goals and interventions.* Documents patient progress in daily notes and weekly notes (as applicable), as well as contributes recommendations to patient's discharge note from physical therapy.* Assists with guidance for clinical fieldwork students under the supervision of the physical therapist.* Reports on interventions and patient progress during assigned meetings and contributes to the screening and evaluation process.* Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.**Minimum Qualifications*** Associate Degree – PT Assistant* No Experience* No Supervisor Experience* PTA License/Certification**Work Shift**Day Shift (United States of America)**Legal Statement**The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this position.
