Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Dynamic Care Psychotherapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions, symptoms, and any functional limitations.
• Utilizing specialized techniques to diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Instructing patients on the proper execution of therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand how to maximize their recovery efforts.
• Administering therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assisting patients with adaptive equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices to enhance mobility and independence.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, tracking their treatment progress and outcomes to refine ongoing care as necessary.
• Providing education to patients and their families about in-home treatment options and exercises that reinforce therapy progress and encourage self-management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be essential in serving a broad range of patients, from children recovering from sports injuries to adults dealing with chronic pain or post-surgical rehabilitation. Emphasizing individualized care, you will assess each patient's unique circumstances and work to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, from an accredited institution.
• A valid PT license to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and patient management.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our patient population and changes in workflow.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates at all experience levels, the following are preferred:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on rehabilitation.
• Experience working with diverse populations and various physical therapy modalities.
• Familiarity with specific patient management software and electronic health records (EHR).

Compensation and Benefits
