Work Environment

This full-time role allows for a flexible work schedule, predominantly remote, enabling you to assist clients primarily through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs using evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, employing techniques that align with best practices in trauma-informed care.
• Develop and execute personalized service plans tailored to the specific goals of clients, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
• Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring that their rights are upheld while connecting them to essential social services and support.
• Engage in program development activities, contributing to evaluations and grant reporting to measure the impact of services provided.
• Collaborate with external organizations, government entities, and volunteers to enhance the quality and accessibility of our social services.
• Participate in regular team meetings, professional training sessions, and community outreach activities to foster a robust support network.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clients served in this role include individuals struggling with substance use disorders and their families. You will focus on providing support and advocacy for these clients, helping them navigate the complexities of recovery and rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.

• Exceptional communication, empathy, and organizational skills are essential for effective client interaction and support.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
