Work Environment

This position is a full-time remote role, allowing for flexible work arrangements that cater to both staff and patient needs. You will be operating from your own location while engaging with clients through telehealth services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for clients entering the detox program, considering their medical history and presenting issues.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions, specifically addressing the unique challenges associated with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to foster recovery and emotional regulation.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage personal growth and teach effective coping strategies for managing addiction and mental health symptoms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists and addiction specialists to ensure a holistic approach to client care and treatment.
• Respond to clients in crisis by employing de-escalation techniques, counseling them through acute episodes, and coordinating referrals for further care as needed.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of addiction, treatment options, and community resources available to support recovery.
• Maintain diligent records of assessments, treatment progress, and other necessary documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
