Step into a dynamic part-time role supporting students in grades 1-5. This contract opportunity involves working 3-4 days each week with approximately 450 young learners, making a tangible impact on their educational journeys. In this position, you’ll primarily oversee re-evaluations and initial evaluations, taking the lead at each stage—from assessment to reporting and facilitating essential meetings.

Your expertise as a school psychologist will ensure accurate evaluations and meaningful recommendations, shaping the services and supports offered to students. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and staff to advocate for student needs within a nurturing school environment.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Strong background in administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized psychological testing
• Experience leading evaluation meetings and composing comprehensive reports
• Expertise working with elementary school-aged children
• Familiarity with best practices in special education services, documentation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with school teams and families
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy setting

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting high-quality re-evaluations and initial evaluations for students in grades 1-5

• Preparing thorough, timely reports summarizing findings and presenting these to school teams and parents
