Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Nights

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as part of a specialized overflow unit task force, floating across multiple adult health units including Observation, Med/Surg, PCU, and IMC as needed
• Deliver direct patient care across a range of acuity levels within adult health settings at a large, Level I Trauma academic medical center
• Occasionally float to the ED or PACU to manage adult health patients with inpatient orders awaiting bed placement
• Support patient care needs across two campuses, with the secondary campus located approximately 10 minutes from the primary site

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months required
• Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (no disciplinary actions on license)
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Must not be a current resident of Arizona to be eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Flexibility with shifts, departments, and unit assignments is strongly advantageous
