Nurse Practitioner | Neonatal Location: Long Branch, NJ Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Monmouth Medical Center-AP-Physician-0049 State NJ Location 300 Second Avenue Long Branch New Jersey 07740 Requirements Monmouth Medical Center needs an APP locum for ongoing coverage. Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes: Arterial puncture, Endotracheal Intubation , umbilical lines placements, PICC line placements, PIV placements, Thoracocentesis and chest tube insertion, Lumbar puncture Description of Work Assignment: Provide patient care, round on patients, support providers, communicate with families Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: 12-24 hr coverage Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: 2-3 shifts per week, Day and night shifts ( 8a-8pm and 8pm-8am) Week days, Weekends and Holidays On call? No Patient Load 10-15 Board Status Requirement (BC/BE) N/A Is there additional support staff? Yes Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? Yes, working with other providers. Are there Advanced Practice Providers? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for them? Yes there are other APPs. No the locums provider is not responsible for them. Trauma Level of Work Location N/A EMR System? EPIC Is the Clinic EMR Different from the Hospital EMR? No List of individuals interviewing candidate: All physicians ( 6) and NNPs ( 4) if possible or at least 2 physicians and 1 NNP Time Sheet Approver (once physician is hired) Larysa Smith Are we able to grant full, temporary, or emergency privileges? If so, what dates does the committee run? N/A Additonal questions: credentialing timeframe? Will the dept be requesting temp privileges? Looking for ongoing coverage beginning in June, the sooner we start getting applicants and interviewing the sooner the credentialing can begin. At this time, I dont think temp privileges are necessary but if that changes I will let you know. NICU Level? Covering level III NICU, delivery room coverage Are there travel restrictions? No, would prefer someone more local that does not need to fly in and out. Minimum years of experience?
