Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Position Overview
- Seeking a Process Engineer to support a manufacturing project from final design through startup and commissioning.
- Responsible for process development, equipment implementation, and operational readiness activities.
- Works closely with engineering, operations, quality, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Contributes to process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Food & Beverage (FMCG) industry experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support process design activities, equipment specifications, and technical documentation during project planning.
- Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process and equipment-related issues during project execution and ramp-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and operational goals are achieved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in manufacturing process engineering, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Proven experience supporting capital projects from design, installation, and commissioning through startup.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
