Job Summary:
Geriatric Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) position located in Spring Grove, Minnesota. This role involves providing nursing care within a long-term care facility and clinic setting. Candidates are required to bring their Minnesota RN license on the first day. The position offers a flexible schedule with rotating shifts, and the facility requires a commitment to on-site work starting as soon as possible.

Job Details:

• Location: Spring Grove, Minnesota
• Schedule: 8-hour or 12-hour day/pm shifts, most shifts are pm, with every other weekend and holiday required
• Required Qualifications: Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2+ years of registered nurse (RN) experience, including 1 year in long-term care; Associate Degree or Certificate; COVID-19 vaccination (exemptions considered)
• Preferred Qualifications: Emr experience with Matrix preferred; experience managing change and working independently; capable of passively managing tasks timely.
• Additional Information: Will be required to float to a secondary facility (Gundersen Harmony) located approximately 25 miles away as needed. No on-call or callback requirements. The unit has 43 beds, with staffing details provided. The traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit may be closed. Candidate must initiate the medical compliance portion within 48 hours of acceptance or within 24 hours for quicker start.
