Supportive team and management Comprehensive benefits Matching 401K PTO Growth potential Job Details Schedule & Work Environment: Full-time position (M-F, 5x8s) No weekends No on-call rotation Collaborative, professional ambulatory surgery environment Position Overview: The Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to patients throughout the pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery phases of their surgical experience. This role will also rotate into the procedure room to support pain management cases. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in perioperative nursing, post-anesthesia recovery, pain management, and patient education, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting. Qualifications: Current, unrestricted Connecticut RN license PACU or critical care nursing experience required Ambulatory surgery center experience is a plus Strong clinical knowledge and skills relevant to pre-op and PACU nursing Willingness and ability to learn procedure-room RN responsibilities Current BLS and ACLS certifications ASPAN/CAPA certification preferred Knowledge of aseptic technique, anesthetic agents, potential complications, and emergency response Strong communication and interpersonal skills Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
