Job Overview
We are looking for a technically proficient and sales-minded Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with our sales leaders to convey the capabilities of AnyLogic software ecosystem to our diverse clients, including 40% of Fortune Top 100 companies. Your technical expertise, ability to rapidly assess customers' needs and present complex concepts clearly will be key to driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and present AnyLogic solutions.
- Conduct in-person and virtual product demos to showcase the capabilities of AnyLogic ecosystem.
- Add value on demo and technical calls by explaining modeling and simulation capabilities of AnyLogic and outlining potential integration pathways with existing clients' systems.
- Demonstrate the value of AnyLogic Cloud in enhancing clients' deployment of digital twins / simulation models used operationally.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, technical and InfoSec documentation, and client presentations.
- Relay feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and technical challenges faced.
- Support post-sales activities, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to deployment and ongoing customer support. Assist with complex product installations.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and existing clients to ensure optimal use and continued expansion inside AnyLogic software suite.
- Conduct technical training sessions on AnyLogic software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of simulation, modeling methods; hands-on experience with AnyLogic.
- Good knowledge of Java.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Passionate about AnyLogic and the opportunity to grow simulation modeling in the US market.
- With strong sales acumen and comfort with a sales performance-based compensation model.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a B2B technical pre-sales or technical support engineer role, preferably in software or cloud solutions.
- Analyzing user needs and describing the optimal software usage scenarios in tutorials.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and leading providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Knowledge of Python.
