Salary/Rate: $35/hour on W-2.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Automation Technician to support the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability of automated manufacturing equipment. This hands-on role supports industrial robots, EOAT, PLC/HMI-controlled equipment, sensors, pneumatic systems, and related automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial robots and automated equipment.

• Support EOAT setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• Troubleshoot equipment involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, conveyors, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Respond to equipment alarms and support fault diagnosis and production recovery.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Support equipment startups, changeovers, and production activities.

• Maintain accurate maintenance and troubleshooting documentation.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of relevant hands-on automation, robotics, maintenance, or related technical experience preferred.

• Hands-on experience with industrial robotics and EOAT.

• Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI-controlled equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot automated equipment.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Work Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo Grove, IL.

• Ability to work the assigned 12-hour shift, including night shift hours as required.

• Ability to perform hands-on technical work in a manufacturing environment.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States. Work authorization requirements will be considered in accordance with applicable law and job requirements.
