Job Title: Automation Technician Robotics & Automation

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Automation Technician to support, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial robots and automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and maintain industrial robotic equipment .
Support EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot robot alarms, sensors, grippers, vacuum systems, and sequences.
Use basic PLC and HMI knowledge for equipment troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and automation components.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Support production startups, changeovers, trials, and equipment troubleshooting.
Work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve equipment issues.
Perform basic robot teaching and adjustments when required.

Required Skills:

Hands-on Industrial Robotics experience Must Have
EOAT experience Must Have
Basic PLC knowledge
Basic HMI knowledge
Hands-on automation/equipment troubleshooting
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Strong teamwork and willingness to learn

Additional Details:

Experience: 2+ years preferred
Shift: Day 6:00 AM 6:00 PM / Night 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Note: Any industry background is acceptable. Medical device, molding, or assembly experience is not required . Candidates with hands-on robotics and automation experience from automotive, semiconductor, packaging, plastics, pharmaceutical, or other industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
