What You'll Do

• Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients
• Assist in emergency surgeries, including vein harvesting during heart procedures
• Conduct patient assessments, including consults and referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
• Assist in surgeries, perform relevant procedures, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Coordinate patient care and order necessary tests and treatments
• Document clinical encounters accurately in Epic EMR
• Provide in-hospital floor call coverage during assigned shifts and on weekends

What You Need

Required:

• Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Experience with cardiothoracic and vascular procedures and post-op care
• Ability to perform vein harvesting and assist in surgical procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience in hospital-based inpatient care
• Ability to manage emergency situations effectively
