Priority Care Rehab Staffing is hiring Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTA/COTA) in Queens, NY!
Support our OT clinical team helping SNF residents rebuild skills for daily living and independence. You'll work under OT supervision implementing individualized treatment plans in a team-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement OT Plans of Care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide ADL retraining, fine motor activities, cognitive exercises, and UE strengthening as directed
- Maintain timely daily documentation in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and facility requirements
- Communicate resident progress and any status changes to the supervising OT in a timely manner
- Participate in IDT meetings and assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and discharge planning
Requirements:
- Active New York Occupational Therapist Assistant license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior SNF experience preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills
