Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Bench Mark Physiotherapy Services, you will play a vital role in your patients' recovery processes. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and therapy needs.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques such as exercise programs, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously to adjust treatment plans as necessary for effective recovery.
• Providing education and training for patients, their families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and the safe use of assistive devices.
• Participating in team meetings to discuss patient progress and contributing to the continuous improvement of therapy services.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and other physical impairments. You will work with diverse patient demographics, ranging from children to seniors, each requiring personalized care and attention. Your goal is to help each patient regain mobility and strength while enhancing their quality of life through recovery.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on patient education.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and general computer skills for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
