Manager, Scrum Master

Position Summary CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring a Manager, Scrum Master in Woonsocket, RI to design and develop software applications and platforms that support digital strategies and solutions. The role involves designing and delivering efficient technical software solutions, partnering with product and user experience teams, collaborating with engineers to build elegant code and state‑of‑the‑art responsive customer experiences, and working with application owners and business partners on both long‑ and short‑range technical solutions. The Scrum Master will review functional and design documentation, map testing requirements, and plan test coverage. Responsibilities include participating in Program Increment planning meetings, guiding technology projects, acting as a liaison between business and technical aspects, translating data points and business processes, conducting business impact analysis, and managing project teams. The role requires expertise with Agile SAFe principles, Jira, Confluence, and the ability to lead teams during PI planning events, pre‑planning, and review sessions. Telecommuting is available, and multiple positions are open. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the same or related occupation. Six (6) months of experience with Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles. Six (6) months of experience responsible for leadership and facilitation of teams during pre‑planning and PI planning events. Six (6) months of experience with Agile toolsets. Six (6) months of experience using JIRA. Six (6) months of experience using Confluence. Compensation This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above and includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
