Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality patient care during weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have extensive trauma experience and be certified in TNCC to ensure optimal emergency responses.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions to deliver prompt, effective emergency care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current NJ-RN License and active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Possess at least 3 years of ER RN experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a level 1 trauma setting.
• Credentialed with TNCC certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures and trauma care.
• Able to work night shifts and weekends consistently.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
