Manager, Accounting & Finance - Corporate

Position: Accounting & Finance Manager - Corporate Corporate Key Responsibilities Corporate Accounting & Financial Management Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for the management company, including quarterly P&L analysis and financial statement preparation. Manage corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis. Oversee corporate cash management, banking relationships, and cash flow forecasting. Track and reconcile asset management fees, corporate expenses, and intercompany transactions. Oversee accounts payable, invoice processing, corporate insurance, and other general accounting functions. Monitor financing obligations, loan covenants, and related reporting requirements. Support financial controls, accounting policies, and process improvements as the organization continues to grow. Investment Entity & Fund Accounting Oversight Provide accounting and financial reporting oversight for various investment entities and partnerships. Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and investor capital account reconciliations. Review investor reporting packages, capital account statements, and related financial schedules. Monitor fund expenses, management fee allocations, and investment-level financial activity. Assist with accounting and reporting for new investments, transactions, and other special projects. Work closely with internal investment professionals and external accounting and fund administration providers. Tax, Audit & External Coordination Coordinate annual financial statement audits and serve as a key liaison with external auditors. Oversee tax compliance activities in collaboration with outside tax advisors, including the preparation and distribution of investor K-1s. Maintain accurate entity-level accounting records and support compliance with partnership and financing agreements. Partner with outside service providers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Process Improvement & Finance Function Development Help develop and improve accounting processes, financial controls, and reporting procedures. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance financial visibility across the organization. Take ownership of a broad range of accounting initiatives in a growing, entrepreneurial environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Approximately 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience. Prior experience within real estate private equity, real estate investment management, private equity, or a related investment platform strongly preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting structures. Exposure to partnership accounting, investor capital accounts, capital calls, distributions, or fund accounting highly desirable. Public accounting experience and/or CPA designation a plus. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with multiple accounting systems and external service providers. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alliance Resource Group
