Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations through physical assessments and complete reviews of medical histories
• Help assess and diagnose surgical conditions via careful interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential support during operations, including room setup, patient positioning, and instrument handling
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably experience in clinical rotations focusing on surgical practice

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Strong understanding of surgical guidelines and sterile procedures
• Demonstrated ability to interpret diagnostic results and aid in complex clinical decisions
