Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Utilize CAD software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, to create detailed schematics and construction plans.
• Utilize ICPR for stormwater design and Watercad for potable water and reclaimed water.
• Draft technical reports, such as stormwater reports, lift station reports, and utility reports,
• manage several projects with deadlines.
• Communicate with clients and review agencies over the phone, through virtual meetings, and through email. In-person meetings when necessary.
• Review the work of less experienced staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT.
• 3-4 years of experience in civil site design and land development (residential, commercial, or industrial).
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related civil design.
• Knowledge of local, state (FDOT, FDEP, WMD), and federal regulations and permitting processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

About the Company:
Our client provides civil engineering services for land development projects in the state of Florida.10+ years of experience in Civil Engineering working on residential projects, including single-family lot grading plans, subdivisions, townhomes, condominiums, and apartments. Along with Commercial projects, including the following: retail, restaurant, church, school, and warehouse.
