Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing, global manufacturing organization in Grand Haven, MI is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and partner with senior leadership on financial performance and process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop an accounting team in a fast-paced environment
• Oversee general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Partner with shared services to ensure accurate AP/AR and transactional processing
• Support forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance
• Coordinate audits and external relationships
• Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies
• Manage cash flow and support treasury activities

Skills

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6+ years of experience, ideally within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
• ERP experience
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• CPA/CMA preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
