Job Description As a Security Officer Luxury Retail Patrol in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as commercial real estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Details Position Type: Full time Pay Rate: $22.10 / hour Schedule: Daytime – Tue through Sat, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures and location‑specific policies. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, documenting details and communicating with property management and first responders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity. Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report maintenance, lighting or other site‑related issues. Assist with monitoring the property during business and after‑hours operations, helping to support an orderly environment for tenants, guests and employees. Minimum Requirements At least one year of security‑related experience. Guard card/license preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Age 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation per federal, state, and local laws. Drug screen as allowed by law. Licensing requirements per state/local laws, may be required prior to employment. Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
