A growing bakery and café is seeking experienced leaders to support its front of house and kitchen operations. We are looking for two managers who can help maintain high standards, develop team members, and ensure the café runs smoothly each day.

Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager will support the overall café operation, with a primary focus on front of house leadership and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Support daily café operations and ensure smooth service from opening through closing

• Lead, coach, and develop front of house team members

• Maintain high standards for customer service, cleanliness, and presentation

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operational decisions

• Support training and onboarding of new employees

• Help ensure the café consistently delivers a positive guest experience

• Work closely with the kitchen and other teams to maintain operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous experience in café, bakery, restaurant, or hospitality management

• Strong front of house leadership and customer service skills

• Experience training and developing team members

• Ability to work across opening and closing shifts based on business needs

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager will help lead the back of house team and support daily bakery and kitchen production. The ideal candidate should understand bakery operations and be comfortable learning and supporting multiple production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily back of house operations

• Help manage and develop the kitchen and production teams

• Maintain food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and safety standards

• Support production planning and ensure teams are prepared for daily business needs

• Assist with training and developing team members across bakery and kitchen functions

• Help coordinate production across the bake, sandwich, and cake teams

• Support inventory, organization, and efficient kitchen operations

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, bakery, pastry, or restaurant leadership experience

• Experience working in a scratch bakery, café, or comparable food production environment

• Strong understanding of food quality, sanitation, and production standards

• Ability to lead and develop a back of house team

• Willingness and ability to learn and support bakery production
