AP Accountant

AP Accountant - Temporary

Location: Summit, NJ

Pay: $30 to $33/hr

Duration: Minimum 6 weeks, with potential to extend and possible temp-to-perm opportunity

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented AP Accountant to support the accounting team with invoice processing, reconciliations, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 40-50 invoices per week
• Perform three-way matching and invoice processing
• Ensure bills are processed and paid accurately and on time
• Communicate with vendors and resolve payment inquiries
• Perform account and payment reconciliations
• Assist with general AP and accounting activities as needed

Top Priorities

• Strong Accounts Payable experience
• Experience with Ramp and/or Concur strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptable and eager to learn
• Reconciliation experience
• NetSuite experience is a plus; other ERP experience is transferable
• Insurance/industry experience helpful but not required
