Job Summary The Administrator ensures compliance with all licensing and Regional Center regulations; safeguards the health, safety, and overall well‑being of clients; maintains consistent communication with conservators and external agency representatives; oversees staffing levels and labor hours to ensure efficient operations and high‑quality care; and provides ongoing training, supervision, and mentorship to direct support staff. Job Functions Maintain open communication with conservators, family, service coordinators, and other client representatives/advocates regarding client health, well‑being, and quality of life, and demonstrate strong knowledge of Title 17 and 22. Maintain appropriate staffing for the facility in accordance with the program design by hiring and training staff, generating schedules to ensure adequate supervision and support of clients, and delegating duties that best serve the clients and the facility needs. Oversee daily business operations—including client notes documentation, medication audits, personal and incidental funds disbursement & audits, physical plant inspections, maintenance of client and staff files, time‑card review and amendments, and conduct annual performance evaluations. Attend trainings as mandated by Regional Centers. Communicate with staff regarding quality care assurance. Maintain safety compliance to prevent staff and client injury. Responsible for resident care such as scheduling medical appointments, following up on recommendations by the doctor, and ensuring the overall medical condition of residents. Act as first responder in the field to emergencies and report special incidents according to applicable laws and regulations. Provide 24‑hour on‑call response, as applicable. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Certification Requirements Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certification (ARF) DSP I and DSP II certificates CPR/FA and CPI certificationHigh school Diploma or equivalent (Preferred) Minimum Experience 3 years of experience in the field working with clients with developmental disabilities. 3 years managerial experience with an associate’s degree or 2 years managerial experience with a bachelor’s degree.
