Accounts Payable Clerk
Ambassador Resources is a talent recruiting and placement firm based in the northeastern United States, built on the core belief that when our job is done right, employers and job seekers both benefit over the long run. Our client is looking for an accounts payable clerk to join their company located near Bridgewater, NJ. This position assists the controller in all facets of accounts payable including invoice entry, electronic invoicing and payment, system maintenance, check production, statement reconciliation and year end reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Enter and pay bills for all vendors & subcontractors
- Categorize bills from email and document in standard company format
- Scan & organize hard copy bills & receipts for standard documentation
- Enter bills into QuickBooks financial file
- Download monthly statements from vendors and reconcile
- Send copies of vendor invoices to warehouse manager for review
- Enter credit card transactions and review daily activity
- Enter check requests for customer refunds
Requirements:
- Associates degree with 2+ years' experience in accounts payable
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, as well as MS Excel
