Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 annually 

Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) …

A clinician in the Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS) program plays a critical role in providing comprehensive mental health care to children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral issues. The primary objective of the clinician is to deliver individualized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions directly in the client’s home, supporting both the child and their family.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide home-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to children and families.
• Deliver comprehensive mental health services to children, parents, and families in various settings.
• Maintain client records.
• Serve as liaison with outside agencies and referral services.
• Coordinate team services to comply with recovery plans.
• Demonstrate innovative problem-solving, crisis intervention, and management skills.
• Collaborate within a team to offer interventions including therapy, crisis response, consultation, advocacy, and linkages.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure adherence to IICAPS credentialing requirements. 
• Collaborate closely with the IICAPS Team Leader.
• Conduct evaluations and assist in formulating recovery goals and strategies for families and teams. Provide treatment in various settings such as homes, communities, and schools.
• Offer therapeutic interventions including child therapy, parent guidance, couple therapy, family therapy, crisis response, school consultation, case management, advocacy, and service delivery, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. 
• Maintain clinical records in the IICAPS BMS and CCGC's Credible web-based electronic health record. 
• Meet documentation deadlines. 
• Participate in supervision and case presentations. 
• Interface with CCGC medication prescribers and families. 
• Contribute to special projects such as consultation, prevention programs, and community education, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. 

Requirements:

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU…

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, family therapy or a related clinical field.
• Licensed at the independent practice level as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Health (LICSW) preferred. LCSW and LMHC will also be considered.
• Minimum of two years of clinical work experience.
• Experience providing individual, group, and family psychosocial assessments and treatment.
• Demonstrate expertise in assessment, crisis intervention, and child and family therapy, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Have a solid commitment to your work and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Be credentialed to provide diagnostic and treatment services to children 0-18 and their families under a Licensed Clinician's supervision.
