HR ManagerLaSalle Network is partnering with our client to hire an HR Manager in Park Ridge, IL for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This HR Manager role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys building and improving HR processes while supporting a growing, multi-state workforce. In this HR Manager position, you'll be the go-to resource for employee relations and investigations, partnering closely with leaders to strengthen fundamentals and drive consistency. It's an exciting chance to make an immediate impact during a period of growth and integration.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary HR resource for employee relations matters, investigations, workplace concerns, and performance management.Coach and guide managers and directors on core HR fundamentals, including interviewing and timecard management.Conduct and document employee investigations across a multi-state workforce.Coordinate benefits enrollment and PTO administration in partnership with the internal payroll team.Administer performance review processes through ADP Workforce Now, including newly built-out review modules.Support Open Enrollment planning and execution.Mentor and develop an HR Generalist and HR Coordinator.Drive process improvement and HR project initiatives across a growing, multi-state organization.Qualifications5+ years of progressive HR experience (senior-level HR Generalist candidates stepping into their first Manager title are welcome).Strong background in employee relations and investigations, ideally across a multi-state footprint.Solid benefits administration knowledge, including benefits enrollment support.ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred.Proactive, ownership-driven mindset and comfort building process in a less mature environment.Strong communication and project management skills.Ability to obtain an Illinois PERC Card (fingerprinting), as required.Key DetailsEmployment Type: Contract-to-HireCompensation: $30 – $40 per hour, with an estimated $70,000-$85,000 upon conversionBenefits (Contract): LaSalle Network consultants are eligible to enroll in benefits.
