Skid Steer Operator
Twin City Staffing is hiring a skid steer operator for a busy recycling facility in Shakopee, MN! In this role, you will operate skid steers and sit-down forklifts to transport recyclable materials, load processing hoppers, and stage trailers across the yard. (Depending on experience) Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM | Monday – Friday

Duties of the skid steer operator:
- Operate a skid steer to transport, organize, and shift recyclable materials throughout the yard
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and stage palletized materials and inventory
- Load processing hoppers, trailers, and recycling equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with daily recycling operations, general yard cleanup, and facility safety maintenance
Requirements of the skid steer operator:
- Prior experience operating sit-down forklifts in an industrial, warehouse, or yard setting
- Prior skid steer operation experience is preferred (training is available for candidates with strong forklift backgrounds)
- Physical ability to work actively in outdoor weather conditions throughout the shift
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the job site daily
