Shape the clinical future of a biotech advancing therapies across multiple autoimmune diseases.
Following a $125 million Series A , this Bay Area biotech is appointing a Chief Medical Officer as it prepares to enter the clinic in approximately 12 months
Joining at a pivotal stage, you will help translate the science into a clinical development strategy, with influence over indication selection, early trial design and the path to clinical proof of concept.
The opportunity
- Lead clinical and translational strategy across a pipeline targeting autoimmune diseases.
- Guide the transition from preclinical development into first-in-human studies.
- Shape patient selection, biomarker strategy and clinically meaningful endpoints.
- Build the clinical development team and help shape the company's medical direction.
Your background
You'll bring deep immunology and inflammation expertise , strong clinical development experience and the scientific judgement to evaluate opportunities across autoimmune indications. Experience advancing programmes into the clinic, alongside a hands-on approach to biotech leadership, would be particularly relevant.
