Customer Service Representative – Service Scheduling Coordinator

About the Opportunity

Are you someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking service and support.

In this role, you'll take incoming calls, gather information about customer concerns, assist with basic troubleshooting, and coordinate service appointments with field technicians. This position is a great fit for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Retail, hospitality, restaurant, and customer-facing experience are highly transferable and encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from customers requesting service and support.
• Gather details about customer issues and perform basic troubleshooting to identify service needs.
• Schedule on-site appointments for service technicians.
• Accurately document customer interactions, service requests, and appointment details in the CRM system.
• Update customer records and maintain accurate data entry.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, including simple invoicing and spreadsheet updates in Excel.
• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer service on every interaction.
• Manage multiple systems and screens while speaking with customers.
• Handle approximately 50 calls per day during peak seasons.

Preferred Experience

• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, food service, call center, or office environments.
• Experience handling customer inquiries via phone.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Experience scheduling appointments or coordinating services is a plus but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Roseville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
