Head of Marketing Operations

Full time Fully Remote Role from these states: Due to complex requirements, remote work is NOT permitted for short or long periods in: CA, CO, CT, HI, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA and working Internationally (this includes working while on vacation). Minimal travel 51.05 - $76.60 You will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the marketing organization, including financial management, process optimization, resource planning, agency management and performance reporting. You will operationalize the portfolio and planning model by ensuring efficient execution, financial discipline, and scalable processes, supporting measurable, optimized performance. Financial & Business Operations Management: Own budget planning, tracking, forecasting, and reporting while ensuring alignment to KPIs, OKRs, and ROI expectations. Resource & Capacity Planning: Lead workforce and capacity planning, aligning staffing, agency utilization, and workload distribution to business priorities. Operational Performance & Reporting: Develop reporting frameworks, delivering clear visibility into performance, financials, and operational health. Agency & Vendor Operations: Support agency and vendor management processes, ensuring alignment with contracts, deliverables, and performance expectations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, finance, operations, or a related field Certification / Registration / License: Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, business operations, finance, or a related field Experience managing budgets, operational processes, and performance reporting in a complex, cross-functional environment Strong financial and operational acumen Process discipline with a continuous improvement mindset Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field Certification / Registration / License Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or process improvement certifications Experience leading projects in a large health system, healthcare organization, enterprise marketing department, agency, regulated industry or complex matrixed organization
