We value humility and a team approach at every level of the company.If you are a high performing individual who is passionate about winning and inspiring others then we are excited to discuss career opportunities with you.Job DescriptionThe Assistant General Manager will help ensure the smooth and efficient operational procedures within all departments enabling the Equinox club to provide the highest level of customer service.Train and supervise the Front Desk, Housekeeping and M.O.D managers while helping the General Manager facilitate all delegated projects and responsibilitiesManage multiple aspects of inventory control, payroll budget, daily bank deposits, shift coverage and general club maintenanceEducate staff of proper company policies and proceduresQualificationsQualified candidates must have proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional settings with 3-6 years of management experience in a customer service businessEnthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to drive revenueHire, direct and train staff as well as excellent time management and follow-up skillsFinancial management experienceBachelor Degree RequiredPay Range: $70,000 - $75,000Additional InformationAs a member of the Equinox team you will receive:Complimentary Club membershipPerks and incentives with our products and services including Personal Training, Pilates, Spa and ShopThis job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
