Market Associate Johns Island, SC Storey Farms is a Johns Island, South Carolina-based farm specializing in ethically raised, dree-range poultry, ducks, and pigs. Founded by a former fine-dining chef, Storey Farms focuses on high-quality, locally raised products and sustainable farming practices. Their market also features products ranging from neighboring local farms. We are currently seeking a friendly and dependable Market Associate to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and being part of a community-focused farm environment. Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week Pay: $15-$17/hour Qualifications: Previous cash register or retail experience preferred Strong customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high summer temperatures Reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment High school degree or GED preferred ServSafe certification preferred Must make company requirements regarding criminal history, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws Responsibilities: Operate the cash register and process customer transactions. Assist customers with product selection and general questions. Restock and organize merchandise and displays. Maintain a clean and welcoming market area. Count, track, and maintain inventory records.
