A successful Alpha IT Support Specialist: The IT Support Specialist will serve as an integral role in ensuring Alpha’s technology systems perform exceptionally well. The IT Support will have a high comfort level with technology and be able to troubleshoot issues, learn computer programs quickly, and be adept at collecting and analyzing data. The IT Support will have a strong customer service approach. Additionally, the IT Support will value communication with all Alpha staff members and collaborating effectively as part of a team. IT Support Specialist is expected to: Create configurations and manage Apple devices in Jamf MDM Perform remote support on macOS software Asset tracking and inventory of hardware Setup and manage Chromebooks on an enterprise scale Manage and troubleshoot Verizon hotspots Basic maintenance of projectors/document cameras/Apple TV Manage VoIP phone system Troubleshoot various Google Apps including Gmail/Google Drive/Google Sites Manage school website via Google Sites, as well as WordPress Ability to research complex problems and develop cost effective solutions; strong analytical skills Create and manage tickets for addressing hardware and software issues in Freshdesk Assess and recommend software and hardware solutions Provide advanced support and/or hands-on assistance to staff Maintain clear documentation for internal projects and troubleshooting guides What we offer: At Alpha we care deeply about our scholars and staff.
