Restaurant Sous Chef

Job Overview The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is seeking a Sous Chef to join our pre‑opening team. The Sous Chef holds a junior management position, reporting to the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef. Responsibilities Supervise the entire culinary team of the dining outlet. Assist with creating menu recipes, specials, and inventory orders. Run the line and entire kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef. Lead the charge on all standards, training employees on standards, menus, recipes, and cooking procedures. Qualifications Formal training from a culinary arts program and at least 2 years as Chef de Partie or prior Sous Chef experience. 3‑5 years of culinary experience. Great communication skills and proficiency with computers. Food Safe Certified; knowledge of Birch Street is a plus. Strong willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers. Good organizational skills and ability to work independently. Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. High work ethic and sense of responsibility. Flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays. Fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
