Trusts & Estates Associate Location: Manchester, NH A leading New England law firm is seeking a 3-5 year Trusts & Estates Associate to join its established and expanding practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly experienced attorneys advising individuals, families and family-owned businesses on sophisticated estate and tax planning matters. The successful candidate will gain significant client exposure while working on personalised estate plans, tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies and complex trust and estate administration matters. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on estate planning and tax planning matters Handle trust and estate administration Design and implement personalised estate plans for individuals and families Advise family-owned businesses on estate and succession planning matters Develop tax-efficient estate and wealth transfer strategies Assist with the transfer of closely held business interests to irrevocable trusts Work directly with high-net-worth individuals, families and their advisors Participate in networking, marketing and business development initiatives Who You Are 3-5 years of trusts and estates experience Experience with estate planning, tax planning and trust and estate administration Prior private law firm experience Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families is a plus Experience with closely held businesses and sophisticated wealth transfer strategies is advantageous Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical abilities Excellent client service, communication and writing skills Interest in business development, networking and building a long-term practice Admitted to the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bars, or able to waive in Compensation Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
