Work days/hours: M - F day shift

***Virtual role - HOWEVER, needs to have a scanner and must be local to San Antonio. One project requires scanning certificates in the San Antonio office***

Roles & Responsibilities

• Pull and request exemption certificates as needed (as per specific state requirements)
• Maintaining customer exemption certificates
• Maintaining tax automation software to ensure compliance accuracy
• Transaction tax audit defense
• Preparing and supporting transaction tax refund claims
• Assisting with various projects as assigned

Experience Required

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• SAP and Vertex experience are a plus.

Skills & Certifications

• Ability to utilize critical thinking/analytical skills to solve complex tax issues.
• Organizational skills to be timely and keep files complete and organized.
• Communicate professionally.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work. Pivot on assignments as necessary due to deadlines.

Eligibilities & qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• SAP and Vertex experience are a plus.
