We are committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement—driven by a global team of passionate professionals.We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Assembly Technician to join our high-performing 3rd shift team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience and proficiency with hand and power tools to efficiently assemble and fabricate hydraulic components. This position plays a critical role in maintaining both quality standards and production targets on the assembly line.Training 3rd shift's schedule begins promptly at 10:45 p.m. and ends at 7:15 a.m. During the first month, new employees will complete their training on either 1st or 2nd shift to ensure a successful onboarding experience. After training is complete, employees will move to their regular 3rd shift schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesComponent Assembly & Mechanical BuildAssemble hydraulic motors & subcomponents according to engineering drawings, SOPs, and torque specsInstall seals, bearings, shafts, and rotating components using manual & pneumatic toolsApply torque using calibrated torque wrenches & powered fastening equipmentPerform press-fit operations requiring controlled hand-force & component stabilizationConduct visual & tactile inspections to ensure proper fit & alignmentTool & Equipment OperationOperate hand tools including ratchets, torque wrenches, pliers, mallets & screwdriversOperate pneumatic & electric power tools requiring sustained grip and trigger activationSecure & stabilize components during the mechanical fastening operationsUtilize measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, and gaugesMaintain control of tools & parts to prevent product damage or personal injuryMaterial Handling & Physical TasksLift & maneuver components weighing up to 45 lbsFrequently grip, grasp, pinch, and manipulate parts ranging from small precision components to larger assembliesApply bilateral grip force estimated between 15 – 40 lbs depending on taskMaintain a standing position for 8-10 hours of workPerform repetitive hand motions throughout production cyclesReach, bend, twist, and rotate upper extremities during assembly processQuality & DocumentationRead & interpret assembly drawings, work instruction and quality check sheets in English.Perform in process quality inspectionsRecord production data & complete required documentationIdentify nonconforming components and escalate per procedure.Safety & Operational ComplianceFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsMaintain a secure grip and control of all tools to prevent injury.Participate in safety audits & continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain a clean & organized workstation (5S standards)QualificationsMust be at least 18 years old.High school diploma or GED preferred.Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.Technical CompetenciesMechanical aptitude & understanding of the assembly processAbility to interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency with manual and powered assembly toolsKnowledge of torque specifications & measurement devicesUnderstanding of basic hydraulic principles (preferred)Cognitive CompetenciesAbility to follow detailed written and verbal instructions in EnglishBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, measurement conversion)Attention to detail and quality focusAbility to identify process deviationsProblem-solving within defined proceduresPhysical CompetenciesFrequent lifting up to 45 lbs.Continuous standing (8-10 hours)Manual dexterity for small part manipulationRepetitive upper extremity movementAbility to exert grip force between 15 – 40 lbs. frequentlyAbility to sustain power grip and pinch grip throughout 8 – 10 hour shiftBilateral hand coordination requiredOperation of manual, pneumatic, & electric tools requiring trigger activation & steady hand controlCarrying & positioning parts at waist & chest levelPushing and pulling carts or bins of materialsFrequent walking within production areaFrequent reaching (forward & overhead)Bending, stooping.
